Awesome..

Since I had left AIESEC I have had a feeling how awesome a group I was a part of, and how miserably ridiculous were some people I worked with once I had left AIESEC (until I had a short stint with Gray Matter), which eventually led me to call it a day at my company and say "life can't be this bad, I gotta hunt down something better".

Along came a company, Mind Valley, based in Malaysia, with people from over 13 countries, averaging an age between 25 and 30.. seems to be "the" place I should have been long back. The very first day in the office, after a short and needed introduction (One of the founder, Vishen, who hired me forgot that he hired me, he was like "who is this guy? why is he here?").. but soon after that, and this is when I had had a 9 hour flight and one sleepless night, I was asked if I would like to begin, and after a glance on people around, I actually wanted to.

First day, a tuesday, and the weekly meeting of the company. Now if you are at Mind Valley and you are attending a meeting like this, and its your first, you gotta get goosebumps... The growth pattern looks perfect and gets you to wonder, if you are actually good enough for this stuff. Saw the awesomness report, which had everything from social initiatives to growth to success to everything else. It had the new org structure that the company would adapt to.. it was like a perfect start of the traineeship. You just knew it that minute that you are up for some serious stuff.

Day 2 was a lot of studying.. reason, you feel you are so behind in knowledge from everybody else.. and so to be a part of the success story, you better get on top of things..

Day 1 and Day 2, have got me to believe that it will be a challenge to achieve what my targets would be, but that somewhere, I think, is already making me look forward to it.

About Malaysia.. well the food is Indian, so that is not a problem, the people in my company are very helpful and they are awesome (that's why the post is called Awesome..). For all friends and family, I am having a great time, come for a holiday!

Until next time!

It's going to be great, feel it in the air:) Challenge that makes you stretch and want to live up to it, learn more, do more than you thought you could, walk the extra mile. Very glad to be on the journey and I'm sure together with this team we'll make it a great one.
