This blog post is dedicated to my love struck friend "himi". After exploring 4 continents, 28 countries, my dear friend finally found, "Love in London". The woman walked into the room, like always, it started with the eyes, and then... (censored already).
Our other friend who was around, tabs, saw "the happening" and made my dear friend realize that there were a lot more countries to be care off and he cannot surrender to love, he has larger responsibilities to take care of, after all our man was an ambassador of, love (ahem) and friendship (ahem ahem). Understanding that, the man himself, took a step back, until the magical words "happened"... "Himi", and our man Himanshu (that's what we used to know him as), turned back (imagine a typical bollywood scene), "J", "Himi", "J", "Himi" (background music.. lala lala), they came closer and .... (censored again).
Himanshu, after a long time and finally got the name of LOVE. Himi it was. Himi it is.
My friend, may this love prevail. Himi is in the air.
Lala lala lala lala...
(If you want to know who is Himanshu.. oopss, Himi, keep checking this blog space, i am soon putting Himi's pic with J)
Lala lala lala lala... (censored, what the heck stop now man!)

Aamir - "Raham Khuda"
Back from Delhi (or Dilli), Sunday was to be a relaxed and chilled day. After a fun chilled afternoon in the company of Shashikant and Sanjay, I met some age old friends of mine for dinner, which all of a sudden changed to the plans of watching "Aamir".
A story about a guy who has just landed after a three year course, he gets stuck in a situation controlled by anti social activists, they drag him to places, and get him to do things, only in the end loosing to the guy in a strange way (Don't think that the guy becomes Sunny Deol and beats the shit out of bad guys, this movie is lot more real than that). An awesome script backed by a power packed performance of Rajeev Khandelwal, brilliantly organized backdrop music and outstanding direction and camera work.
What moves you in the movie is the way things are put, the shots the storyteller takes, which fills you with "eehh", "yuck", "aahh" and a bit of "oh god". When you experience the not so pleasant areas of Mumbai through the movie, when you see a struggle, difference of opinion, you end with a thought.
I would consider and register as one of the best works you can see off late. Completely non-commercial, most of us would avoid being exposed to that part of India (as we understand India is developing and we are riding on fancy job roles and salaries).
A strong STRONG recommendation from my end to watch the movie. Please go and watch, for once you will not regret a 150 bucks spent.
I will try and put the video of "Ha Raham" in the next post. Until then, get your hands on tickets of this movie.

rain and roses!!
Has been a while since romance has struck, like real time.
Fortunately it happened last night. last night, 11.15 my uncle called from mumbai, "Ajit, you have to do something for me", I said, like a nice kid "I will, what happened?"
Its your aunts Birthday tomorrow, she is in Jaipur and I am here in mumbai, I really want to wish her in a surprise manner. I want a 100 roses being sent over, now. I was zapped cause it was late in the night and I had no idea who would have a 100 roses at this hour. In my shorts and a pair of slippers, I could have been spotted wandering on roads very easily.
from panch batti to teen murti, from chopad to railway station, with rain drops dripping down my face, I could only think of getting those roses from somewhere. finally i did, not 100 but some 20.. which was fair.. reached aunty's place with 20 roses and a lot of butter scotch and double chocolate chip ice creams, a cool card (I had bought this for someone, never gave it, came to use for some real love stuff), and saw the smile, she knew who got this done, came the call, and the heart filled.
I exited the scene, only to come back home, smiling.
cheers to some great love stories around.
